67 Bug Update – Yellow Peril

Yellow Peril gets a ‘Nose Job’
Hello all you Yellow Peril followers – please see the latest work performed by Romance With Rust. This car is just too good all round to leave the creased inner wing it had – none of you saw it but we knew about it, and after the colour sand, the paint looked sooo good, we just had to take the opportunity to put it right PERFECTLY, and that’s what Chris has done, feast your eyes on some super quality highend metal fabrication…
First of all, note the poor quality of the pattern panel, which Chris has to match with triangular metal tabs, then the perfect seam welding he performs so he can grind smooth and then the final job of tab welding the hood seal track as per factory.
There are very few people on this planet who will take the time to detail in this way and Chris is one of them.
I am a perfectionist and fortunately for the next owner so is Chris – the car goes into the first stages of paint tomorrow – we retrim soon – Red Mesh, Navy Blue or Grey???
This YP may just end up being a keeper…
